Get Approved by the Landlord ✅

Once your application is reviewed, the landlord will decide. If you're selected, you'll receive your rental contract.

Sign the Rental Contract & Book Your Key Exchange ✍️🔑

You must sign the contract within 72 hours of receiving it. If not, the room will be offered to another applicant. Once signed, book your key exchange appointment and get ready to move in!

Cancellation Before Move-In 🚫

If you need to cancel your rental agreement before your move-in date, please note:

  • You remain obligated to pay the full rent for the first month to the landlord
  • A €200 service fee is payable to Friends in Flats

These obligations are waived only if you provide a suitable replacement tenant in time, who is:

  • Explicitly accepted by the landlord
  • Takes over the rental agreement under the same terms
  • Moves in on the originally agreed move-in date

What If My Application Gets Denied? ❌

Didn't get your first choice? No worries! If your application is denied, you can immediately apply for another room without having to upload your documents again. Plus, new rooms are listed regularly, so stay updated by subscribing to our alerts!
